<blue> yes
<blue> so tell the normal blade2kers about yourself
<JonathanOfDrain> I'm the Public Link Manager for Blade2k, I dabble in diffrent kinds of art and I like to think I'm funny.
<blue> good. why did you come into the site?
<JonathanOfDrain> I was talking to Spik and he gave me a link to his afterdark site to see what I thought of it and checked out one of the links on his site and ended up at Blade2k.
<blue> indeed
<blue> how did you come about becoming staff
<JonathanOfDrain> I'm not quite sure, when I first joined I thought it'd be cool if I joined the staff as the resident pixel pusher. HB was already the GFX Artist for the site so I just went around posting, joining projects and being an overall swell guy. After Mystic came back from wherever, We chatted a bit about junk. I mentioned I was making a skin and a few paragraphs about the prizewall later we decided to ask Ramza for a job. We all talked
<blue> and you and Mystic became staff right?
<JonathanOfDrain> Yep
<blue> hmmm. what exactly does a Public Link Manager do?
<JonathanOfDrain> What we're supposed to do is make sure all the affiliates and links are working. We're like an editor and secretary put together. We look for new affiliates and keep in contact with already existing ones. We also get Ramza his coffee and donuts.
<blue> and you are aware that one of the affiliates are broken?
<blue> worry about it later
<JonathanOfDrain> The gaming elite 100?
<blue> yea.
<blue> but worry about it later.
<JonathanOfDrain> Yeah, we'll solve that problem... eventually.
<blue> are you currently working on any gaming projects?
<JonathanOfDrain> A few actually. I've got three of my own on and off. Kagirilo's Comic, Crayons and an untitled project. I'm also helping a few people on their projects.
<blue> indeed. what do you do as far as help?
<JonathanOfDrain> I make some graphics for them. Throw ideas around and I'm usually the first to point out problems during beta testing.
<blue> indeed. what do you like to do outside of RM2k/XP and Blade2k
<JonathanOfDrain> Nothing.
<JonathanOfDrain> Ha kidding... really.
<blue> riiight....
<blue> but seriously, the question
<JonathanOfDrain> I'm a big fan of music and I've been trying to make a few demos of some songs I've made over the years and continue on making more.
<JonathanOfDrain> I also do the whole pixel art and sculpting stuff. I've recently been doing alot of cooking too. Nothing fancy though.
<blue> indeed. are you still in school?
<JonathanOfDrain> Yep, I'm a junior in highschool and I'm taking a few college courses. Plan on going to Berkley school of music or someplace like that.
<blue> good. good.
<blue> apples or oranges?
<JonathanOfDrain> Oranges.
<blue> good man. coffie or tea
<JonathanOfDrain> Actaully I avoid both, but if I had to I probably take tea. More Caffeine.
<JonathanOfDrain> My sister used to work at a coffeshop and would make me taste disgusting combinations of coffee.
<JonathanOfDrain> Snickers Pumpkin Spice Coffee, that was pretty gross.
<blue> heh, bad memories...
<JonathanOfDrain> Can't block them all out.
<blue> hmmm. any special women in your life (ie. girlfriend, wife?)
<JonathanOfDrain> Yes
<JonathanOfDrain> But that's private.
<blue> indeed.
<blue> well this interview is quiet long, any thing you would like to say at the end?
<JonathanOfDrain> Yes, Oranges are better than apples.
<blue> Damn stright!
<JonathanOfDrain> Hey maybe I should interview you sometimes..... TO BE CONTINUED!
