ey. And welcome to my Save Point tutorial.

Yeah, I know. A Save Point tutorial. Wow. Well, considering a hot topic
among newb...er, inexperienced people...is how to make a save point.
Time to make a lot of people shut the hell up...

First, make an event, with whatever graphic you want it to have.
Make it Below Hero or Same Level, either one.
Set it to On Hero Touch or Push Key.

Now make a common event.
Title it Save Point, and set it to be Called.

It's actions should read:
<insert a sound FX here>
Messg:Save point.
Show Choice:Save/Don't Save
[Save case]
Call Save Menu
[Don't Save case]
<nothing>
Messg:Would you like to keep playing?
Show Choice:Yes/No
[Yes] case
Messg:Good luck!
[No] case
Messg:OK! See you later!
Go To Title Screen

Now, go back to the event you created.
