Gameplay:
8/10
Fairly well rounded gameplay. The cutscenes were smooth and spiffy. Battles were well rounded as well. There were also a few puzzles in there. I reviewed the first demo, and it's come a way since then. It's only loss is that it was a bit on the short side.

Graphics:
8/10
As far as I know, these were all custom made or edits. The maps were good, and the characters all fit with the chipsets. My only quarrel is that they were edited in an FF6-ish type style, though it's no biggie. The battle animations were nice too.

Sound:
6/10
Pretty good selection of stuff here. I noticed there was no sleeping music. I usually expect that in an rpg. A lot of the music fit with the scenes, but a few of them didn't. A custom musical score would help this out a bit.

Storyline:
7/10
This is looking pretty good, even though it seems to be a bit cliched. Two countries have been at war for a while, and one decides to go kick some ass in the other one. Then it shifts to one of two seemingly meaningless characters, who seem to have nothing to do with what's really going on. But I would guess that that's gonna change later. You can choose between two characters, brothers, on opposite sides of the war. That's a pretty neat feature. It's also in a modern type setting... also another neat feature. Not bad at all here... Clean up some of the authentic cursing a bit though. =p

Uniquity:
6/10
A DBS and DMS, nothing special there. The battle animations make it seem like a sideview, but it isn't. There're a few puzzles, and a pretty nifty storyline. This aims to be a pretty interesting game.

Conclusion:
I played the first demo, so I played through this one as the other character. It's a very bloody, violent and vulgar game, perfect for most gamers. The graphics are pleasing to the eyes, and the sound scheme is nice as well. The map design is pretty good as well, and the puzzles will keep you busy for a minute or two at least. If you've got nothing better to do, give this a test run.

8 + 8 + 6 + 7 + 6 = 35/50 = 70%
