-As far as the battle system goes... fantastically done! The battle system was the standard rm2k one, but he had the stats well calculated. Almost perfect level of difficulty. The battle system also depended on the weapons. Bows did more damage to certain enemies while axes did the same.
There was a total of three minigames in this demo... but unfortunately, replaying one of them later for prizes was incredibly glitchy... Needs some more work in the minigame department.
The beginning is too dependent upon talking I think... Just a little too much. Also, the demo is very short. Only took me 1 hour and 5 minutes. All and all, very enjoyable.
-Nothing too bad about the graphics. They were from an assortment of things, pretty well done. Nothing exceptional though. Some of the maps were a little too symmetrical, and some a little too bland, but not a whole lot.
-Excellent job here. I loved the music! There wasn't any music at the monastery, but I'm willing to overlook that... although it would be nice if there were. Most of the music was all custom I believe, and was quite a nice selection and fit the mood well.
-Probably his biggest flaw here. The story starts out in some kind of moon base/ship. It's self-destruction, but Loki stops it. He has little time till it restarts, so he heads out to Amira. Scene goes to Rolf. Rolf is just waking up in a peaceful village. Unfortunately, a monster is terrorizing the forest to the north, so you join up with a girl named Melissa to go destroy it.....
It turns out to be an average story, with part based on revenge. Of course, since the game is short, there isn't much time to develop it. So I predict this should be rising in future versions.
-The battle system is the most considered unique... although I'm doing this to the rpg I'm making, I haven't seen it done in a lot of other games. The story was only so, so unique also... I'll give it a six for now.
-A game worth playing! The length makes it short and easy to play for anybody. I really enjoyed this game and I hope everybody else does to! Almost professional like, I felt like I was playing a Super Nintendo game.....
I expect a lot to come from this game in the future!
8 + 8 + 10 + 6 + 6 = 38/50 = 76% = 8/10
