Gameplay
5/10
The game was long, and somewhat boring. For a demo with only two maps it played like a full game. The monsters had too many hit points, and did slightly too much damage resulting in me mashing the 'A' Button of my PC Game pad mercilessly to win fights. And when the time came, the boss was the same difficulty as the normal enemies. Lukas said there was one bug, and I believe I found it...

Graphics
6/10
Not bad, but not good either... The monsters were from that monster pack I uploaded a while back (yay you :), the chipsets weren't RTP but I've seen them all before. The charactersets weren't custom, but they weren't overused rtp either. I recognized the facesets from Roco's facesets, which are pretty nice. The battle background was rtp, and so were the battle charactersets... What more can I say? The one huge map was designed to look like a cave, but it took bloody forever to get to the other side, and my worst nightmare came true as I discovered that I had to go back through it. That coudl use a little work.

Sound
8/10
Music by Zack Parrish (you should know him). Although Zack didn't compose the music Lukas used especially for this project, he still made it, and did a wicked job as usual. The sounds were from random sources, a few of which were recognizable from FFVII. This was clearly the game's strong point.

Story
3/10
Not much going on here as of late. Perhaps it's because the demo was so short (and only 2 maps). I could say the story here, but it would ruin the whole point of playing the game for yourself.

Unquitity
4/10
The graphics weren't original. The music was great though! A fancy looking caterpillar system seems like it will cause a few problems later in the game, but it's not my place to judge. The 'Matra' thing that he kinda described in the forums isn't in this game yet, so I can't give points for it. A sub-par mark for sub-par uniqueness.

Conclusion
well, if you like dungeon crawling, this is the 15 minute demo for you... The monsters took too long to beat although they weren't hard, it was a pain sitting there hitting the button a million times before the fight was over. If the creator did that just so that the game will be longer than 10 minutes, I will go to his house and brutally murder his entire family! Err right... back to the review...

5 + 6 + 8 + 3 + 4 = 26/50 = 52/100 = 5/10

perhaps this is the kind of mark you see often? XD
