![]() Final Fantasy Ultima I Developed By: Sephiroth555Review By: Ramza Written on: Wednesday, December, 10th, 2003 at 10:52:17 pm Rating: 10% Site: here System: RPG Maker 2000 Download: here Gameplay 2/10 Default everything. The heroes still had the default skills that the default heroes start with. The DBS is used, and uses the default monsters. The biggest innovation is the save point which was oddly advanced for the certain lack of creativity used in the rest of the game's systems. The monsters were either too easy or too hard. The encounter rate was so high it was annoying. I haven't got much good to say about it. Graphics 1/10 Default chipsets. Ripped graphics from squaresoft games. Characters were borrowed from other squaresoft games as well. The map design was horrible as well. Character sets were mostly rtp and the rtp add on. Facesets were rips from miscellaneous games, and default. Definately nothing special here... Sound 1/10 ever wonder what a game with default sound and music would be like? Play this and see. There were a few tracks that were not default rtp, but they were nothign special. Story 2/10 There wasn't much of a storyline at all. Bits and pieces are revealed to you as you go on. You've always got something to do. The characters' graphics and names were usually ripped from some other final fantasy game. The king's name was Crono, and he sported all the Crono graphics. Some of the other characters were just default rtp guys with a changed graphic... or one of them was even completely default! Unquitity 1/10 Unique in the fact that it is the only complete game that I've ever seen that was completely default or ripped off of something. Conclusion It surprises me that the author was able to play through this without commiting suicide. My ears bled from the warped rtp music. The graphics hurt my eyes. The storyline was far below par, and the gameplay was mostly just walking around and mashing the spacebar every some many seconds. I do not recommend playign this game... I don't even recommend reading this review. I'll be honest in saying that I never finished the game... when I realized it wasn't getting any better I stopped playing it. 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 1 = 7/50 = 14/100 = 1/10 Screenshots write a review
