It really grips you with interesting battles and amazing character development. Even though the DBS is used, it doesn't matter, it works really well. It has the side battle animations. It has al sorts of extra feaures like fishing and a bank system which gives you interest at about 20%. There are a lot of cool picture uses like the dragons later in the game. All in all it took me about 10 - 15 hours to complete (I wasn't really counting). You will not get bored either. The game is not linear at all. The only real flaws in the game was some gramatical errors featured in the text. You could read and understand it perfectly though. It felt like the author speaks English as a second language. Not a big deal though. I give this 9/10 Graphics ok, so a lot of it is rtp. Namely the world map. But a lot of it is unique or mac and blue. When you play the game you will understand that gfx aren't the main feature of the game although they are prety nice. A lot of nice picture effects and battle animations. I also liked how the characters interacted by walking around and turning around when talking, not just standing still. There was also a really nice looking city chipset in there. I give it a solid 7/10 becuase a lot of thought was put in to keep the game's gfx consistant, meaning no out of place gfx. Sound The sound and music was really good in my opinion. There was a classic use of themes which you got to remember throughout the game. I'm not sure if some of it was Breath of Fire, i'm not sure. Anyway, the music was great even if it was wasn't 100% originally created. It fitted the scenes right. I also liked how sometimes the creator used no music at all. It created an atmosphere that music would destroy. The sound effects were general really, there's never much you can say about it as the rtp sound effects are fine enough. I give the sound/Music 9/10 Story Now, The story in my opinion is one of the best things of the game. It is incredibly well crafted. It flows so nicely and never leaves you thinking this wasn't thought through. The game basically follows 2 stories. One of your main hero, Ryu who is has the power to transform into a dragon but doesn't know it. He leaves to the city after his once champion fighter grandad is killed by soldiers. He leaves for the city to train from Master Dojo. On the way he discovers a few things about himself. The second story line links in when you meet Rocky who has some distant past with Zeo (I think his name is) and you get under attack and trace around the world looking for him. At the same time you are in company with Ryu so his story line breaks in too. You never get bored really. I think the story is flawless in my opinion and deserves a perfect 10/10 Unquitity The Unique thing about BOFL is that it is a full game and it actually grips you. No it doesn't have some flash cbs and cms. But at the end of the day, a lot of the games with flash cbs' don't make the game unless they can grip you and make you play on without getting bored. It takes a real art to do that and alot of people do not succeed. BOFL succeeded gracefully I give this 10/10 becuase you don't get many rm2k games that are actually "good" not just for what they are, but as a game in itself. Conclusion This is quite possibly the best rm2k I have ever played and is up there with the likes of Legion Saga 2. It really is a master piece I feel. The game never slips up and leaves something unexplained. You don't get the feeling that the speech is corny either. This is a very good game in my opinion and should be noticed by everyone. If you are a serious game maker or game player you should definitley without a doubt play this. Maybe you can get some tips from it, if not just for pleasure. 9+7+9+10+10 = 45. 45/50 * 100 = 90% Screenshots   write a review
