![]() Super Smash Bros. Melee Developed By: NintendoReview By: Agent_47 Written on: Saturday, December, 31st, 2005 at 10:46:46 pm Rating: 94% Site: here System: Gamecube Download: here Graphics 7/10 They may not be the best, but they definitely serve their purpose. It’s in 2D during the fighting, which sounds bad, but actually isn’t that bad. The graphics are vary “cartoony” and don’t cause lag (at least I haven’t seen any lag). Gameplay 10/10 It’s very easy to learn, and difficult to master. The A.I ranges from pushovers to killing machines (try beating a lvl 9 bot with max handicap). Also, unlike many other games, you can turn off pause to prevent n00bs from exiting the game when they’re losing (Cough*Archangel*Cough). Sound 10/10 It features some of Nintendo’s best tunes from classics from the N64, SNES, NES and arcade eras, and several new mixes made for the game. Multiplayer 10/10 4 players duke it out in a variety of modes that are very original and on quite a few very entertaining maps. In addition, you can use bots which allows you to play if nobody else wants to play with you. Replayability 10/10 For a long time, it was the only reason I played my Cube at all. It truly would be better than Halo 2 if it had online play, because bots only are fun for so long, and I don’t have many human opponents very often. Hopefully, the next Super Smash Bros. will have it. Overall: It’s a great game, so if you have a Cube, but don’t have Melee…. you wasted $100 (U.S). 7 + 10 + 10 +10 + 10= 47/50= 94% Screenshots write a review
