The number of people in our IRC channel has nearly doubled and the amount of conversation has probably tripled. However, there is still more to come. Yes - for those of you who are a little behind the times or are to stubborn to venture past the realms of hell, here are the fixtures for an exciting event which I have articulately dubbed the "IRC-A-M challenge" . This a good way to get to know the people of our site and will surely aid in your result for next years Member battle ( which will be won by me this year ). Good luck to everyone planning to participate, and good luck to all those who still need to pluck up the courage and venture into the unknown labyrinth that is IRC. The rounds will go as follows: ALL MATCHES WILL BEGIN AT 8: 00pm GMT + 0 (UT - 11pm , ME - 10pm , Pinguin - 10pm, Canadian time - 5pm) ROUND 1: Wednesday the 4th October Trivia - Movies Scramble - internet slang ROUND 2: Friday the 6th October Trivia - History Scramble - Capitals ROUND 3: Saturday the 7th October Trivia - Blade2k Scramble - Computer Games ROUND 4: Monday the 9th October Trivia - Geography ( Wide variety ) Scramble - blade2k We encourage each and every one of you to participate and make these events as fun as possible. The winner will recieve regular status in the IRC channel (greet and auto-voice) , level 2 in the forums and will be awarded with 100 tokens. The runner-up will recieve 50 tokens and the third place will recieve 25 tokens as well as signature banners.
